About Butter Dream

Butter Dream is an Australian made and owned home textiles label founded by Artist and Illustrator Madeline White. With a passionate focus on individuality, tactility and quality, Butter Dream interprets vintage styles with lively patterns and playful illustration.

Based in the heart of Murwillumbah, founder Madeline dreams up, illustrates and designs Butter Dream's joyful prints from her home studio. Butter Dream textiles are digitally printed in Melbourne using sustainably sourced fabrics and Oeko-Tex approved pigment inks. Then, lovingly cut, sewn and finished back in Northern NSW by the hands of a few talented women. A true product of considered process & collaboration.

Butter Dream pieces are made in very small batches or made-to-order, with limited edition designs by Madeline. All fabric cut-offs from Butter Dream pieces that are too small to be made into a product, are collected sent away for fiber recycling. 

Madeline strives to create heirloom quality pieces that are both functional and a treat for the eyes.
